McCain, Obama, the complete Al Smith dinner transcripts

It's worth watching the videos of Obama making jokes at the Al Smith dinner - it's a side to him we don't always see. But he also discusses poverty at the end - without mentioning the word - something Tavis Smiley had highlighted here in Seattle last week ... that the word poverty has been unmentionable thus far in this campaign.

And for the record, I'm just blocking out in my mind the fact that Samantha and Jason will be leaving the Daily Show. Thanks for wrecking my week MC.
