I'm not going to watch new episodes of Colbert or Stewart until the writers come back.... not holding a grudge against the hosts or others who are crossing picket lines to work on the shows, but I don't want to play any part in boosting ratings for scab latenight TV.

I think it's a bit unfair to be calling Jon and Stephen "SCABS" at this point. Comedy Central is probably threatening to sue them and their production companies for breach of contract if they don't show up for work. Take a look at NFZ. The WGA picketers have made it pretty clear that they are picketing Viacom, and not the hosts themselves.

I'm not calling Jon and Stephen scabs, I'm saying the shows are scab productions, because that's what they are. As I said, I'm not holding any grudges against the hosts or the crew that went back to work. I sympathize for the crew that hasn't had work for the past 2 months, and won't try to second guess the hosts' choice to go back. Assuming they don't do like Leno and start writing their own jokes, Jon and Stephen are OK with me... But that doesn't mean we need to help Viacom by giving their scab shows good ratings!
I'm looking forward to seeing Stewart and Colbert again when their writers return, but until that time I'm not going to watch.

Well, that's certainly what many people are opting to do, and I respect and understand your decision, however, I still feel obligated to *at the very least* post a weekly schedule.

Without the "scab" productions people who not writers and don't earn a lot of money are going to LOSE THEIR JOBS Ted. I am sure you want that to happen, don't you?

I think it's pretty clear that the writers whole-heartedly support Jon and are, in fact, picketing Viacom due to their appearances as of late on the show. Take last night's show for example -- I was so pleasantly surprised to see an ad-libbed field piece. The two would've bothered to appear on the show if they didn't support Jon.
